Confidentiality

I want to assure you that everything we discuss in our sessions is confidential. I may need to share some insights with my supervisor to ensure I'm providing you with the best support possible. When I do this, confidentiality will be fully maintained.

​There may be rare instances when it's important to involve other professionals or your emergency contact for your well-being. If that situation arises, I will reach out to you for your permission first and let you know exactly what will be discussed.

​After each session, I take brief notes to help me track our progress together. Please know that your identity will remain confidential in these notes, and they will be stored securely.

​My priority is your safety. If I ever believe that you might cause serious harm to yourself or someone else, I will have to break confidentiality to ensure you get the help you need. In such a case, I would reach out to my supervisor and may alert emergency services but I will do this with your best interests at heart.

Sessions and fees

Your session is at a mutually agreed time, date and location.

​By signing this contract, you acknowledge your commitment to pay for your counselling sessions, with the understanding that payment is required 24 hours in advance.

Cancellations

I require 24 hours notice if you wish to cancel your session, if less than 24 hours notice is given full fee is payable.

​In the event that I am not able to give your session because I am unwell, I will give you as much notice as possible and offer you an alternative time.

Acknowledgement

By signing this agreement, you are acknowledging that you have read and agree to the terms.
